What’s FusBoxe?

FusBoxe is an American SAMBO, based in Russian SAMBO, Judo and BJJ.  SAMBO in both American and Russian versions are inherently complete, as far as comprehensive take-downs, ground fighting and strike training is concerned. Also, Sambo is an amateur Sport with no Professional counterpart. In America the program follows these Olympic like roots, but does train Professional MMA Fighters in our Pro Legion program. FusBoxe SAMBO is in other words an organized MMA with a very personalized and structured training regiment. As where most MMA programs consist of some level of BJJ and Thai Boxing trained together and separately. The advantage in training SAMBO is that the movements are often seamed from the initial take down to submission or from strike to take-down. FusBoxe SAMBO and Russian SAMBO alike train with a Gi or (Kurtka), but FusBoxe SAMBO is much more focused on NoGi SAMBO as mostly American Civilians and MMA athletes participate in the program. FusBoxe as a (Professionally Operated - Amateur Program) primarily serves families from childhood to adulthood.

FusBoxe SAMBO-BJJ,MMA courses consist of considerable conditioning for both Cardio and strength geared for real world use. How does FusBoxe MMA develop some of the finest fighters and fittest gym members in America? Our training standards focus on conditioning exercises that are beneficial and similar to combative motions used by our MMA and Grappling TopTeam.

FusBoxe training can be separated into three disciplines – Striking-Grappling-Throws.

  1. Striking consists of learning proper technique, bag and mitt work and in time sparring when your skills are appropriately developed.
  2. Grappling classes you will learn ground techniques from BJJ, Wrestling, Judo and Russian SAMBO. FusBoxe is a SAMBO base, therefore employs a wrestling base mentality about learning and rolling. In other words, our grappling training is as active as it is instructional.
  3. Trows/take-downs training review fundamentals in falling, take-downs, throws, throw to submissions and active take down training.

In time striking and grappling classes are combined into training sessions for both competitive fighters and gym members.  All of these FusBoxe Martial Art/Self-Defense drills are combined for an exciting and challenging workout for anybody of any skill level or condition.

I was wondering how much a membership is? I saw that it depends on how much I train so i was thinking of attending 3 days a week. Something like tuesday and thursday during the afternoon classes and saturday, or going friday, saturday, and sunday. I am very interested in this program and very curious about prices. THank you
